In Memory of my Father - Joseph Albert Willis 26th November 1916 - 28th February 2007
The Funeral service was held in St Colmans church, Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland at 10am on Saturday 3rd March 2007. Service was held by Rev. Mike McGann, included two hymns, a reading by the President of the Carrickfergus RAF association and a solo violin performance of Ashokan Farewell by Emma Miller - his great Niece. The coffin was draped in the flag of the RAF Association, his service medals on top and Standard Bearers from the Royal British Legion and the RAF Association stood at either side. At the end of the service a bugler played the last post. He was buried at 12pm in Clandeboye cemetery, Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. Service Information below. I would personally like to thank Reverend Mike McGann, Curate Billy Stewart, Kevin McRandle (RAF Association), my Fiancée Penny and especially my cousin Dorothy for all their help at support at a difficult time. Thank you Joe Willis - March 2007
